Oh Good God

There are some pretty bad things on Newgrounds -- some epically horrible things -- but this takes the cake.

It isn't meant to be bad, like "B." It wasn't made for a laugh. No, what makes this "game" so bad is that you didn't even try, yet you expect people to be kind to it. You say it's your first game, but to still take it seriously. I mean, is it even a game? Did you ever test it out? Was it worth the 2 minutes you took to make it?

No sir, I refuse to waste any more of our time. Please, next time you make a game... just don't, please.

Almost Excellent Game

Impossible to actually beat, this ninja game is the game that never stops. The speed makes the difficulty harder which is kind of a downer (even su though it makes sense), and the lack of a wall cling (which the "swing" move I think makes up for it) makes it feel incomplete. Still, it's an addicting game and well worth the thousand times I played it. Good job.

[Portal Fighter II]

Wow

This is like... Newgrounds Rumble before Newgrounds Rumble was even thought of.
Great concept. Old game, as I can easily tell, but a classic, as well as an addicting game.
Idea:
Make a sequel, named "Portal Kombat"
Add characters from "the gang" (the picture on right on the Flash Portal page) as well as Newgrounds Rumble. Add better controls... and, well you have yourself a winner.

One of the most addicting games on Newgrounds.
Very deserving in its Daily 1st place, and I hope you keep the trend going with more games. :)

Oh.

The idea is great, and the graphics are quite awe-inspiring.
And personally I like the editable music choices... or however you wish to describe it.
It's just the gameplay... is there no way to redo the buttons to make it easier to shoot?

Thanks for reviewing! I thought the controls worked alright but I guess you just need to get used to them, I wasn't expecting too much from the game after some beta testers didn't seem to get it either. Wish I'd changed it after that now, but maybe I'll come back the Vermilion series in the future!

Addicting

Not bad for a world conquest game.
Sure it was slightly difficult, but I enjoy a challenge.

One thing got on my nerves though: the techno-ish background music.

Eh, was okay.

I'm not good at writing entire novels for my reviews like the last guy, so I'll keep it simple.
Animationn was good.
Sound was sci-fi-ish, and cool.
Gameplay reminded me of Asteroids (which is a compliment... if I remembered the game's name right).

Overall, I can see why it's number 3 for the day.
